have been doing hardwood floors full time since xxxx have been trained to install, sand, refinish old floors and recoat old floors. I own my own equiptment that is professional grade ( not the sander you see in homedepot that is a 110 machine) I also use hardwood flooring stain not the minwax stain unless asked to by homeowners. I give free in home quotes that are not obligation to you. I am straight forward and to the point if you dont need something I wont try to push it to make more work. I average $3.00 a square foot on resands, that will include sanding the floor, one coat of stain, three coats of oil base poly. I can apply waterbase finish should you want that but it is an extra charge. Installs run between $5-7.50 a square foot depending on what is needed. Also can refinish existing hardwood steps.
