This is a great preamp. I have had success using it on vocals, guitar, bass, pretty much everything. The channel strip features a mic preamp based on high-quality Burr-Brown ICs, instrument D.I., EQ, and optical compressor. The unit's 24bit/96k digital out allows you to connect directly to your sound card or DAW for a warm, musical analog sound - just what you've been looking for! There is also a transformer that can be switched in and out of the circuit for a different sound. The unit is in mint condition and has lived in my studio rack since its purchase.
