Students of all ages are welcome. I typically give equal emphasis to rhythm guitar (chords) and lead guitar (melodies). If you are a beginner, you'll gradually learn a skill set that will be the foundation of your guitar playing, no matter what style of guitar you eventually choose. If you are an intermediate player interested in exploring jazz guitar, you'll learn to play over the entire fretboard, expand your chord vocabulary, and explore the world of improvisation.
My private teaching studio in Decatur, GA is located very close to I-20. Parents, I have a private waiting room next to the studio, a deck to enjoy if the weather is nice, and a wi-fi network if you want to surf the web while you wait.
