An Experienced Preventative Maintenance Mechanic is needed to perform maintenance work on a Variety of Trucks and/or Equipment for our clients. Both in-shop and on customer site work detail.
Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Position Job Description:
· Perform Preventative Maintenance on Diesel Engine Trucks and/or Equipment.
· Conduct fuel and electrical diagnostics with limited supervision.
· Complete most repairs and parts replacements.
· Accurately complete written record of work performed.
· Communicate with Drivers regarding ?Vehicle Condition Reports" and make appropriate repairs.
· Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed.
· Other duties may be assigned.
Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Position Primary Duties:
· Preventative Maintenance
· Oil changes
· Air/hydraulic brakes
· Suspensions
· Transmissions
· General Maintenance
Qualified Candidates For Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Will Have The Following Education/Experience:
· 2 years of mechanic experience is required.
· A valid CDL is preferred.
· Automotive Certification is preferred.
· Service Excellence Classification: Medium/Heavy Truck is preferred.
· Must provide a basic set of tools.
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
· Must possess a valid clear driver's license with good standing driving record.
· Trade school, mechanical course, or equivalent highly desired.
Working Conditions:
Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs., at least once a day.
